July 2026 Tattoo Warehouse artist sticker design, That Tatt Brat, Sasha, tattoo artist at Ritual Adornment in Maitland NSW

Introducing our July 2026 Artist Sticker: That Tatt Brat, Sasha! Sasha is currently tattooing out of Ritual Adornment in Maitland, NSW. Her work often features watercolour-inspired styles and fine detailing, creating pieces that feel both elegant and unique. We were so lucky to meet Sasha at the 2026 GoldenHand tattoo convention and got to see her in action. We prepared a few questions for Sasha, let's see what's up.

How long have you been tattooing?

5 years!

What or who got you into tattooing?

I have always been a creative and wanted a career that sat outside of the typical 9-5 corporate/retail world. For years I'd had people tell me to do something with my art, so I felt like tattooing would be a really good fit for me to express my artistic flare and do something that had never been done by anyone around me.

Song on repeat at the moment?

Pretty Please, Dutch Melrose.

What's worse than a client cancelling 5 minutes before their appointment?

Shaking an ink bottle not realising it's not completely closed 🙈

Describe your style of tattooing.

I did my apprenticeship in a shop where there was a lot of walk-ins, so I'm very well versed in doing whatever comes in the door. However, when I get the chance to do something anime or watercolour, that's when I feel like my work really comes into its own. I love creating really vibrant pieces that you can read across the room, most often tapping into blues for my colour palette. There's something that's just so striking about a bright blue gradient with some reds and pinks as a contrast. I do love stipple black and grey too, and I try to utilise solid line work (1207RL) with really soft stipple shading (0603RL), because I know colour isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Any advice to a younger self getting into tattooing?

Be patient, it's not an overnight success kind of gig. Hard work pays off, but you have to put in the time and effort that goes towards getting it, so don't be afraid of getting your hands dirty and challenging yourself, and keep going the extra mile. You get out of it what you put into it.

What's your usual go-to lunch break food?

A meal prep style portion of pasta from the night before, or on my lazy days it's a bag of chips from Woolies. But a mango loco Monster is absolutely essential!

What do you get up to during your spare time?

I love PC gaming and watching animated shows like Invincible, Helluva Boss, and nostalgic Pixar movies.

Who do you look up to as a tattooer?

Sally Lee, MissKittyKat (Emily), Melissa Trowbridge (morbid.ttt), Paul Spinello and imsamtattoos.

What do you like most about tattooing?

I love that no two days are ever the same for me. Getting to have clients that seek me out personally for my work, and use that as an avenue to express their story or just to have something cool on their body, is the kind of gratitude I could never express properly, and the fact that tattooing provides that makes this industry like no other.

If you weren't tattooing, what would you be doing?

I feel like I would either be a chef or in event management.
