Introducing our August 2026 Artist Sticker: Mishy! Mike, AKA Mishy (short for Michelin Man), is currently working at Tattoo Central in Cockburn, WA. You've probably seen him on our socials for "Mike's Deal of the Week", and if you're in Perth, you've definitely seen him tearing up the streets in the delivery van. We sat down with Mike to find out what's up.
How long have you been tattooing?
4 years!
What's your style of tattooing?
Traditional, Neo Traditional, Cartoon/Pop culture.
Song on repeat at the moment?
Kielbasa, Tenacious D.
We know you love a good pizza! So what's your go-to pizza joint in Perth?
Monstarella Pizza in Wembley!
Any advice to a younger self getting into tattooing?
SAVE MONEY.
What were you doing before tattooing?
Stained glass artist and barista.
Will you ever go back to doing that?
I still enjoy doing all of them occasionally, but no, never full time.
What's your usual go-to lunch break food around Cockburn?
Fussy Meats, a beef and cheese pie or a bacon, cheese and sausage roll 🤌🏻
Would you rather never have to dip your needles into ink, or never have to wipe the tattoo?
Never have to wipe again!
What's worse? A last minute cancel, or tattooing a client knowing you smell like shit??
Last minute client for sure!
What got you into tattooing?
A love for drawing and making people happy 😃
Why has The Tattoo Warehouse always been your go-to supply shop?
They have the best products and the best delivery guy! (Yeah, the delivery guy is a real QT.)

Any upcoming expos you're attending?
Taking a year off expos as an artist, I think. Might help out any friends attending, or work for The Tattoo Warehouse though 🤘
Who do you look up to as a tattooer?
David Swambo, Taylor Rauma, Gian Karle and many more. These guys do amazing work and I love looking at their tattoos for inspiration. Taylor Rauma's work is so clean and perfect it makes me want to cry!
So working next to Jake, good or bad?
I hate Jake!
Would you rather date Paul or Jake? And why?
Farrk, is "unalive myself" an option?
If you could pick one machine to use for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Bishop Packer, because I don't know how to use a coil yet and my mom only lets me use pen machines (coil machines are pretty dangerous).
If you could only tattoo one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cartoon characters.
